A blog? What is this..2005?
So yes, I wanted to start a blog on all things related to Soulwax, 2manydjs, DEEWEE and David & Stephen Dewaele for a while now.
But why?
I don’t know really. Maybe because 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of my friendship with the Dewaeles? Because there’s still so much going on in the world of DEEWEE? Or I simply because have a lot of stuff from my archive I would like to share? Stories I’d like to tell to the new generation of fans who only got to know our Belgian brothers in the last couple of years?
Back in the day (grandpa talking here) before social media, I had a ‘news’ section on soulwax.info It’s been gone for many years, but sometimes I feel a lot of ‘news’ is gone quickly in the never ending stream of the news algorythm, the reddit posts, the discord messages.
So yes, a blog! I’ll try and keep you up to date with the latest DEEWEE news, but also share some stuff from the past you might or might not know about.
