Dave and Steph have expressed their love for the island of Ibiza multiple times: the ‘Live In Eivissa‘ record with Die Verboten, the ‘Close To Paradise‘ 12″ and their ‘Untold Eivissa’ 7″ and exhibition.
At the 2015 exposition in Paris, a couple of posters from their collection, promoting legendary club nights in Ibiza, were on display.
IDEA made a book on one of the most prolific artist, responsible for hundred of posters, called Yves Uro.

Some info from the IDEA website:
Yves Uro (1954-1995) is a very rare thing in these hyper-connected times – a world class artist waiting to be discovered. In just over a decade, Uro produced between 300-400 posters for Ku and other clubs and bars on Ibiza. Largely freehand drawn and finished with expert level airbrush and paint techniques, the posters represent an incredible run of sustained creativity. They are the aesthetic of Ibiza nightlife in the eighties.
Urovision presents 100 of the most amazing posters into one book – published for the first time. Yves’ sister Catherine provides an extensive personal portrait of her brother alongside photographs, letters, ephemera and examples of his extraordinary teenage artworks.

The poster archive of Dave and Steph proved to be crucial to make the book, since they collected a lot of Uro’s original posters in the past.

Uro’s posters are a true work of art, and you get an idea of the life of the artist thanks to his sister Catherine, who wrote it down.

You can still order the book here (UK) and here (rest of Europe)
