This week’s TBT is dedicated to Das Pop, since the band had their first official reunion concert last night in Antwerp, Belgium.

Here’s a video from way back: Dave and Steph hosted a tv special called ‘@ltern8’ on Christmas Eve 1999 on The Music Factory, the channel were they had their weekly @lter8 show.

As always, the show was quite chaotic. At the end of the night, Bent van Looy would mime to ‘This Is Xmas’ – a cover version of John Lennon’s classic Das Pop made around the time. It included guest vocals from a lot of Belgian artists, including Stephen. The cover never got an official release.
All the people who were present in the tv studio joined Bent in the end.
