The Radio Soulwax project consisted of twenty-four one hour mixes and was launched back in 2011. The first mix they released was Introversy, and the last one was an animated version of ‘As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt II‘ in 2014.
One of the mix hours that gained a lot of attention was ‘Radio Soulwax presents: This Is Belgium Part 2 – Cherry Moon On Valium‘. It the second part of Dave and Steph’s hommage to the unique history of Belgian dance music.
For this mix, the brothers used hardcore and techno music, but pitched down a lot.
Ten years after this was released, Never Sleeps released the mix on a limited edition cassette. It was sold for 15 Euros, but if you want one now you’ll have to pay a bit more on the discogs marketplace.
